Shining Cloud

We sometimes espy a bright cloud formed into an irregular figure; it looks like a centaur to some : some tell that they saw an army with banners, signifies war; but another says it looks for all the world like a flock of sheep...It is nothing but a shining cloud, by its own mobility and the activity of a wind cast into a contingent and inartificial shape.

Lyric

[Verse]

We see a cloud up high in the sky. Some say it's a castle way up high
Others see an army marching by. But it's a cloud just passing by

[Verse 2]

One thinks it’s a centaur wild and free. Another sees a flock of sheep at sea
Each vision tells a different story. Yet it's a cloud up in the sky

[Chorus]

It's just a shining cloud. Moving with the wind so proud
Shaped by the breeze and aloud. But it's just a shining cloud

[Verse 3]

Unskilled eyes say war is near. While wiser eyes preach food this year
Each one sees what they hold dear. But it's just a cloud I fear

[Bridge]

Formed through winds so fierce and strong. Whispers of a world where we belong
But it never stays too long. Just a cloud moving along

[Chorus]

It's just a shining cloud. Moving with the wind so proud
Shaped by the breeze and aloud. But it's just a shining cloud
