Ham Rong is one of the few mountains in Vietnam that has a clear and beautiful pictorial element. Ham Rong Mountain is located close to the center of Sa Pa Town and its elevation is the lowest point in the South of 1,450m, the highest is 1,850m. Topography with an average angle of about 30 celsius degree.

Higher than subtropical humid evergreen closed forest with sparse forest characteristics, less stratum flora development. The average temperature of Ham Rong mountain range is from 15-18oC, the average rainfall is 1,800 - 2,000mm, especially the climate is different, sometimes ice and light snow appear.
