Hon Nuoc Lighthouse

Hon Nuoc Lighthouse, a wild and enchanting destination. On the way, we can see Hon Chong stone, Pig stone, Solo stone and Area with yellow flowers on green grass....From above, this area looks like an endless stone field with spectacular shapes and sizes beside the water, and from here we can see the beautiful little Hon Nuoc Island in the blue sky with green water.

Hon Nuoc lighthouse, the old name is Vung Moi lighthouse, is a lighthouse on the waters of Binh Dinh, Vietnam. It works only at the position of Ga Go peak in Go Dua range of Tan Phung village, My Tho commune, Phu My district, and helps boats operating in Binh Dinh waters to determine their position, avoiding reefs and determine the direction. Vung Moi Lighthouse was built in the French period in Vung Moi Bay, operating for many years. It was then destroyed by war and nature and became a ruin.

It was not until the 90s that it was rebuilt, completed in 1997 and renamed the Hon Nuoc lighthouse after the name of the small island in Vung Moi Bay. The geographical coordinates of the lighthouse are: 14o16'8 "N - 109o10'8" E. With a day effect of 21 knots, the nighttime is 18 knots. The 16.2m high tower is built of stone with dark gray color, the height of the center of light compared to the sea level is 62.5m.

The light emits white light, flashes in single intervals of 5 seconds. The main light is APRB 251 DC lamp, the auxiliary lamp is HD300 type. Currently, this lighthouse is managed by the Maritime Safety Assurance Enterprise 201 of Maritime Safety Assurance Company II.
